TIPS FOR SEWING WITH THE TOUGH AND USEFUL ONES

  • Use a new sharp needle, size 14-16 and about 8 stitches per inch. Increase your tension. Test it on some scrap fabric first.
  • Use polyester thread or if you’re sewing with a really heavy weight, like Cordura® use a heavier nylon thread.
  • Do not force the fabric through the machine, it could cause the needle to break.
  • A teflon foot really helps the feeding of the fabric.
  • Don’t bother using pins - just staple your pieces together. Remove them when it’s sewn. Easy!
