The Canadian Living Coat is a coat designed to meet all your needs. Design options include patch or zipped pockets, drawstring waist or tie belt, roll cuffs or elasticised cuffs and an optional flange for design and warmth. Fully lined, this coat can be insulated for warmth. Generously cut to fit over bulky winter garments and allow ease for movement, a short version is functional and great for all your sport activities. A long version can be dressed up for wearing to the office or evenings out. This coat can be anything you want it to be! This pattern is designed to have 20-30cm (10-15") of ease in the Bust for greater comfort and performance.

SUGGESTED FABRICS: Outer Shell - Tightly woven fabrics which are wind proof such as Commander or Supplex Nylon. Waterproof/breathable fabrics are also suitable. Lining - Lightweight, firmly woven fabrics such as taffeta. Insulation - A lightweight synthetic low loft insulation such as Thinsulate® works best. Avoid high loft fibres.

All fabrics are 150cm (60") wide. Adjust requirements for alterations in length. Lay out with nap. Amounts in Metres (Imperial).
