#14 Tunnel Mountain Tights
The basic unisex Tunnel Mountain Tights pattern is ideal for use for running or cycling tights, fashion leggings, aerobic wear, and they even make great long underwear.
Suggested Materials
A high quality stretch fabric such as nylon LYCRA‘, COTTON LYCRA‘ blend, or SUPPLEX LYCRA‘. For warmer tights or long underwear applications a fabric of POLARTEC‘ fleece with LYCRA‘ knit with it is ideal. The fabric MUST have at least 50% stretch in a least one direction. (I.e. A 20 cm piece should stretch to 30 cm without permanent distortion). The maximum stretch should go around the body.

Elastic- 25mm to 38 mm (1—1.5 inch) wide good non-roll action elastic. Cut to waist measurement less 5 - 8 cm (2 - 3 inch)
Finished Measurements
Ensure that size is chosen correctly by comparing ALL measurements before cutting. This sizing is based on 30-45% stretch in the fabric around the body and approximately 20% stretch in the leg length.

*With a 20% more stretch than above (ex.- 60%stretch in fabric), these sizes can fit 20% larger (,ex.: XXXL can fit up to a 165 cm (64.7") hip).
** With a 15% more lengthwise stretch than above, these lengths can be 10 - 12 cm (4 to 4.75") longer when on.
