#206 - Infants Bearcub Bunting Bag
Infants Bearcub Bunting Bag

The perfect item for that first winter! Warm and snuggly in fleece, but with practical seperating zippers to make it easy to get the child into and out of a car seat.

Simple to sew, this can be made in one of two sizes, which should be adequate for that first winter until they are into the Chinook Snowsuit.

SEWING NOTES

  • When Polartec fleece is pulled along the selvedge, the edge will roll to the right side of the fabric (or the outside). Pulling along the crossgrain (or cut edge) will curl to the wrong side of the fabric (or the inside).
  • Use a longer stitch than you would normally use (approximately 7 stitches to the inch). It makes it easier to pick out any stitches.
  • The thread colour doesn't matter much because the thread is buried in the pile.
  • Fleece is 100% polyester. No pre-shrinking is required (unless you have bought it from the bargain bin!) Do not iron fleece, just finger press your seams.
